KEEP IT RIDE - AMTRAK

Problem: Air travel's speed can rob you of once-in-a-lifetime moments – the magic of a view, the joy of family time, or the thrill of a surprise proposal.

Solution: Escape the rush and reconnect with loved ones – choose Amtrak for scenic journeys that create lasting memories.

What did I do?

Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, and Art Direction

ACTIVATION PRINT-ADS

Our aim was to bring destinations closer to consumers. To achieve this, we devised activation print ads featuring scannable barcodes. By scanning these codes, our audience could instantly discover various places and learn more about each destination. Through this activation, we showcased numerous often-forgotten destinations across the United States, aiming to counteract the convenience-driven preference for air travel.

BILLBOARD

Amtrak's billboards are not just ads, but also friendly reminders that we are here to support and sustain customer’s journeys. Our billboards are crafted with care to ensure that the travel experiences remain uninterrupted and unforgettable.

Think you've seen it all? Are you absolutely sure? Because here's what you might be missing out on: the untamed beauty of nature and the captivating momentum that you won't find just anywhere. It's not just about seeing; it's about experiencing the extraordinary. Whether it's the serene moments of nature unfolding or the dynamic momentum that becomes invisible in the rush, there's a world waiting to be explored. Don't settle for the ordinary – embrace the extraordinary with a new perspective

Lo-Fi Prototypes

When our team looked into app issues, I made basic sketches to create better app designs. These sketches aimed to make users more interested, especially while using the train. They focused on making the app easier to use and more engaging to help improve how it performs.

The sketches aimed to get users more involved, especially during train rides when people seemed less interested. They were meant to change how people use the app during travel, trying to make it more interesting and useful for a better experience.

Mid-Fi Prototypes

In my mid-fidelity iterations, I explored various ways of presenting and organizing information. I conducted user tests to identify the most effective patterns for communicating data.

After finalizing the layout and visual direction, I created a high-fidelity prototype. I modernized the icons, drawing inspiration from apps like MAPS and ROUTE. Incorporating the red square outline from the agency's website enhanced their brand identity. User testing yielded positive feedback, with team members excited about the brand's strong presence while maintaining a user-friendly and professional look.

Final Result: Hi-fidelity prototype
